Virtually all that the late Kofi Annan stood for is what drives us: 'Peace and eradicating poverty'. He worked for individual freedom and believed in equity and justice, a fair and just world free from tyranny and control rather human liberation-empowerment. This still remains a great challenge to world leaders. Poverty is man made and can be eradicated.
The Golden Age is about Enlightenment, Education, Empowerment of people, Equality of opportunities, increased role for women, Autonomy, Freedom. In the words of President Barack Obama; "integrity, persistence, optimism and sense of our common humanity always informed his outreach". As the world celebrate this great global statesman, we hope his death will inspire action to change the way things are. Adieu, the great diplomat.
'Information is liberating', so we must encourage those willing to tell new stories that can help change the way things are.
