No doubt, this generation has the potentials to change the way things are. In the past it is very easy for a lot of things to go unnoticed, today it's different for everyone to see and share widely, perhaps do something about it. I have just written about the new age and our chance of a new start. This is a challenge to everyone who believes in democracy.

The ruling ANC party in South-Africa's decision to sack the president after passing a vote of no-confidence on him should be a lesson for democracy, especially in Africa where democracy has failed woefully, however, i have argued that this may not happen in Nigeria because of identity politics, ignorance, sycophancy, bribe and the guns, etc.

According to reuters; Zuma a 'ploygammus Zulu traditionalist with no formal education' has had 'scandal-plagued years in office'.  His party has decided it's time for him to quit, after nine-years in office so that a more credible and better educated leadership can lead the country. This supports our arguement on credible and educated leadership in democracy.

The ruling ANC party said the President must leave office for the sake of stability and economic recovery. This will definitely aid the rebirth of democracy in Africa where leadership is seen as a private office. Indeed, this is a historic moment for South-Africa. A national show down has bee announced until he quits, very interesting.
