Participatory Obedience is a Political Tragedy

"In Politics being deceieved is no excuse"-LESZEK KOLAKOWSKI

In most dangerous times especially when the political order seems imperilled, our only hope is to learn from it.  If we forget history and if we're not careful, we will neglect it for another.

Most of the power of the authoritarian is freely given. We are still learning from this government that came to power by manipulating simple human emotions like fear, violence and management of real, fake and questionable terrorism; surpressing rivals, opposition, manipulating to introduce a one -party state.

History can familiarise and it can warn. We need to examine history to consider the proper responses to it.
The country now finds itself in a prolonged period of uncertainty, unimaginable circumstances. There is a threat to end democracy. We must remember that when elections end tyranny begins.

Democracy remains the only hope for man. We must demand true decentrealisation, multiparty system, independent legislature, independent electoral body and a thriving opposition to help check tyranny. Now is a good time to do so.

We must beware of 'vain hope' and resist the manipulations of politicians of 'eternity and inevitability' to destroy our collective future. According to Timothy Snyder; "Tyrants seek the hook on which to hang you, try not to have hooks"-

I have strongly suggested people should vote regional political parties in future to help check sycophancy and tyranny and help facilitate decentralisation. 'Participatory obedience is a political tragedy'.

"When we take an active interest in the matters of doubtful relevance at moments that are chosen by tyrants and spooks, we participate in the demolition of our own political order'-   Timothy Snyder

It's worthy to note that Afenifere and Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar have all raised their voices for decentralisation and democracy.

Now is the time to renew our commitment to liberty.

When the democractic dream becomes a nightmare of tyranny

It's a very long-way for Nigeria. It's very sad that 'medieval-style tyranny is still going on in the modern age turning the democratic dream into a nightmare of tyranny. Tyrants holding power over nations by preying on simple human emotions-fear.

I learnt  some of the Chibok girls have been released. What we have witnessed so far has shown how far behind the tide of civilisation the country has fallen- stage managed corruption war, opposition and dissent clampdown, widespread hardship with cruelity and violence.

History is full of the deeds of 'merciless despots, bloodthirsty and dangerous liabilities who manipulated the minds of the unthinking masses and caused devastations.
This dispensation is nothing but absolute autocracy with ruthlessness using henchmen to silence the clamour for basic human rights; just to maintain power at all costs. A complete totalitarian dictatorship maintained solely by terror, negating the nation's interests.

The nation is brought to its knees because of the greed for 'conquest and power' to ensure that a dynasty of ruthlessness with territorial ambitions will continue to extend their legacy using 'callous and cruel' means.

Young girls have always been victims of despots. Self-styled Emperor Bokassa of Central African Republic rounded up 200 ragged school children and put them in prison when he felt being ignored. The Ottoman despots had 280 girls tied in weighted sacks and thrown into the Bosporous.

Deranged Cpl. Foday Sankoh ransacked remote villages in Sierraleone kidnapping innocent girls to be buried alive for super natural powers; yet he died shamefully on a tiny wooden bench in a war crime custody in Freetown.

Creationism has always saved humanity from these heartless despots.

Come 2019, voters should demand decentralisation to help put an end to some of these excesses- violence. Vote for people more educated, more tolerant, more civil and polite, considerate;  not people looking for 'boundless authority' expecting every order to be carried out without question, in a democratic setting.

Vote for people who will help drive the democratic dream that ensures human security, human freedom and human flourishing. Vote for educated leaders who will promote inclusiveness, greater access to talents and markets, channelling resources to skills training and the digital economy to secure future growth and opportunities.

Poor societies should be worried about the future challenges posed by technology instead of silly greed for conquest and power for personal gains.

Voters should avoid ruthless sycophants competing for favours and support. Selling your votes to illiterates and sycophants is one sure way to condem already battered future.
Do not sell your votes to greedy men seeking for power for personal fortune.

Do not enter 'the mouth of hell'- insatiable greed for power whose only motive is to collect 'gold and silver' to make themselves, their families, friends and associates in crime rich.

Get digital, leverage technology for freedom

I was determined to find out why there is so much suffering in the world. I decided to discard my Statistics and Insurance books to dig deeper. The answer is Man.

Statistics will tell you the millions of people killed as the final solution, Insurance will use war clauses as excuse to repudiate liability.

The demagouges 'who manipulate the minds of the masses to cause the death of millions' will tell you that 'if you kill a man; you are murderer, kill millions of men, women and children; you are a conqueror, kill everyone and you're a god'. This is the evil ideologies that defined the 20th century politics.

"The belief in a supernatural source of evil is not necessary. Men alone are capable of every wickedness"- Joseph Conrad (1911).

The world is full of powerful vampires, ruthless sycophants,  fake prophets, Alfas, 'Ara-Nwanyi Asaba, betrayals, heartbreaks, grief and misery, thuggery to genocide caused by man.

We must resist any situation that will send us to dark ages. Indeed, some risks are worth taking others are just unnecessary, according to John Murray.

Say No to ONONGONO(Remain where you are.), the slogan of the politicians, we are on the ground....

We must leverage technology to help ordinary people regain freedom.

"A siesmic shift in living and thinking is taking place due to the rapid and pervasive introduction of new technologies to daily life. It delivers new freedoms. He concluded ; ''the concept of absolute freedom is central to the ideology of the internet.

We are committed to providing platforms that will help ordinary people regain freedom, by making sure young people's choices reflect the future. The future is coming and if we do not act now, we will definitely be left behind.

There is no greater service than this; freeing people from the manipulations of ruthless rulers and their territorial ambitions to extend their legacy.
Death has always played a role in preventing some of these evil deeds, bringing a solution, no foe presents.

The world need  new leaders committed to freedom, diversity and enterprise; leadership that ensures human dignity and human flourishing.

Uche Okeke.

'Decades of pain lie ahead due to disruption', says Alibaba Founder.

"In the next 30 years, the world will see more suffering than happiness. Social conflicts in the next three decades will affect all industries and social classes"- Jack Ma, Founder, Alibaba.

Young people must seek new ways to explore the real information. Look for knowledge platforms that will help change your world view and help prepare you for the challenges of the future. Free yourselves from the chains of conquerors using 'unjustifiable control' to deny you a better future. Young people must find time to look for new skills rather than political debates.
The business of politics is just funny especially in Africa where politics of for the few, their families, friends and associates. Do not make yourselves willing tools by the politicians to spread political lies and attack opponents online. The world has changed so is the future of work and living.
Uche Okeke.

Politics of Power, Priviledge and Practicalities- Ruthless Sycophants.

"Go serarch for people who are hurt by fate or nature-the ugly, those suffering from inferiority complex, craving for power and influence but defeated by unfavourable circumstances. The sense of belonging to an influential, powerful organisation will give them a feeling of superiority over the handsome and prosperous people around them and for the first time in their lives they will experience a sense of importance. It is sad and humanly shallow but we are obliged to profit from it"- Stanilism

As we continue in our search for a new economic development for Nigeria, we continue to highlight some of the sad power strategies put in place to keep ordinary people in perpertual poverty, so as not to challenge the status-quo.

Moving power down to identity will help to eliminate this human curse so that free people can elect true leaders of their choice instead of celebrating political appointees who are agents, ruthless sycophants craving for power and influence, imposed on the people to kill productivity, merit, promote hardship, misery and greater human suffering to keep the status-quo.

We encourage voters to vote for new leaders, 'intellectual idealists' who will put principles before 'new politics of power, privilege and practicalities', people like late Samuel Onunaka Mbakwe. We must resist ruthless sycophants who are only interested in what they will get to do the bidding of the  invaders- the god fathers, the powerful who become gods by killing millions of people including  women and children. Anambara  State is leading in this direction.. The genocide of Biafra is one of the saddest demagougic attrocities of man.

Everyone must not be in politics to help shape domestic issues, we can leverage technology to help bring change by educating ordinary people to make better choices and better decisions that will bring total freedom. Some of us do not need your votes to make an impact. It's only desperate and ruthless sycophants using ' callous cunning and cruelty' to keep ordinary people in 'medieval-style serfdom', where they're denied access to education, free speech and total freedom including, freedom to choose their own leaders.
They are always afraid of 'free-thinking dissents' who would weaken their hold on the 'unthinking masses'.

Ordinary people want to have a say in how their lives are governed, a fundamental human right.

Elections and Political Opportunism in Nigeria

In Nigeria, people are in chains surrounded by military baracks and road blocks. 'Voters are not blessed with choice'. Election is about political opportunism influenced by the political elites, limiting the scope of participation and successful elections. Anyone who thinks otherwise is termed a 'saboteur', betraying the country.

It's very imperative people are well informed about our electoral democracy, political parties and voting systems to enable them make better decisions. Sadly, there is high level of illiteracy, and sycophancy; majority don't know what they're voting for and why they're voting. Some are used as political thugs to perpetrate violence.

There is nothing to expect come 2019 elections, given the current composition of INEC, and the status-quo.
We can only think of a credible election if the election body is truly independent without political interference. The present political structure is designed to forestall credible elections, a grand design to extend authoritarian rule with little weight attached to the democractic process, political parties and independence of the electoral body.

Sadly the political elites who benefit from the way things are compromise intergrity for personal gains, legitmising non-democratic proceedures.

Reforms and restructuring are mere political jargons to deceieve the electorates and win votes.
A genuine attempt by the Goodluck Jonathan's administration for political reforms was frustrated. So what's the point of election every four years when the political elites are not willing to restructure the country to facilitate inclusivenness and greater economic development.

As they prepare for another election come 2019, voters should vote for educated leaders and political parties that guarantee them autonomy to free up national resources for greater productivity and freedom.
The truth is the the future of jobs is under threat from automation and there seems to be no adequate preparations for the challenges and opportunites it presents. In few years a lot of jobs will be wiped out.

Voters should seek for educated leaders who will invest in digital economy and new opportunities for modern life.
In Nigeria, people are not equipped with digital skills, young people and women have lesss digital access and majority have no income to pay for epileptic electricity and unavailable broadband.

Furthermore, voters should look for educated leaders willing to hold the government to account by checking the authoritarian tendencies of the executive which is the main reason for political instability. The current national assembly leadership have really done their best given the sad conditions and the volatility of the situation.

Look around your present conditions, your LGAs, States, unaccountable constituency funds, to access performance as they seek your votes come 2019. The system simply assumes that what the people need is food- rice, beans, and small change to survive the next day.

The current corruption war is biased; a political strategy to enable one political party to gain unfair advantage over opponents. A trumatised judiciary is helpless, electoral laws are circumvented to benefit a certain group of people without any penalty.

According to Lord Peter Mandelson: "so what's the election about? What's the point of an election when voters are not given a genuine choice?".

We will continue to educate ordinary people about the disreputable politics of the few who approach you to seek your votes every four years to continue business as usual, OBJ said it's Chop 'I' Chop.
 To be completed soon.
