"Questions arise about the system. How to fix it? Should we/can we turn the clock back? What are the alternatives? Questions also arise for us as individuals. What part did we play in what went wrong? What do we do in the future? And, beneath it all, what have we learned about ourselves as human beings? About what constitutes good business and a good life? About what our values are? About what the common good is?"-Stephen Green; Good Value.

What is happening to Nigeria, Is there anything more to life than politics? I have been searching why the political deadlock, i think we're in for a great nightmare. We were told it's government for the people by the people. We were also told that the essence of politics is to improve people's lives and overall change of the society, today some groups are calling for state of emergency in some democratically elected states.

I learnt the governors have settled for police state against resource control, how they will fund the state police with monthly stipend from the centre is yet to become known given their history. I also learnt they're calling for abolition of the local government administration when the world is embracing greater devolution of powers to spur growth. They said Niger state has already abolished their local government administration describing it a waste, these are the same people that manipulated to create local governments even where there are no human beings to get more resources.

Our politicians owe the society a duty to build inclusive society that works for everyone not just for their families, friends and associates, their kinsmen as we are witnessing in the petreoleum sector, grazing policy and other sectors. Our politicians must do more to help drive a new future.

We have the power to drive change, it must come from within not outside, this is the duty of politics. Politics have a duty to the society not just taking from the society, it's this profit and power that drives extreme violence threatening the constitution and national unity, building mobs to destroy enemies as if there will be no tomorrow.

How can we stop endless violence, ignorance, diseases, hunger, poverty, migration, electricity, corruption, conspiracy, unemployment, inequality, refugee crisis, endless fuel scarcity, poor healthcare and education services, delapidated infrastructure, pensions, unproductive workforce, social benefits, etc. I think these are the questions that should confront politics. Thinking needs to change.

This headline has a lot to offer, so stay tuned. We are aware of the new railway to Niger Republic, also the new refinery in Niger, but some say it's Katsina, we need to verify. I don't know of the oil exploration in chad, there is this one they say it's Igbo Presidency, INEC said they have no control of under-aged voters, i don't know if it's true, my great great grandson will be in power after me, etc.
