Nigeria's Democracy And Its Crisis Deliberate, Avoidable : Restructuring is one sure way to achieve limited government

Hurray, Nigeria is selling two of its Presidential Jets in a bid to reduce the cost of governance. This is a good development. We have argued that some of the major reasons for lack of  growth is investment in white-elephant projects.

We learnt the government also spends more than N250Billion Naira on religious pilgrimmage, etc. There are these issues of unproductive federal agencies duplicating autonomous functions.

No doubt restructuring the country is one sure way to achieve the potentials for limited government and we encourage the government to listen to the voices of the citizens to restructure the country in-order to re-position the country for the much needed growth and sustainability. This could be a good legacy for the President.
